Examples of blog posts I’ve written for clients and publications:

Blog Posts for an Invoice Software Company

A US-based invoice software company required the planning and writing of blog post articles for their website. They wanted to target in particular solo-entrepreneurs and freelancers, and so I focused post topics on matters beneficial to this audience.

Cats. Who doesn’t love cats? And for those people (everyone) who love cats, then a blog post about the weirdest and most wonderful of cat furniture would surely be a huge attraction. And so it was. This post I wrote for Lifehack garnered over 25K social media shares alone.

Blog Post for a Renowned PR Website

I had long wanted to write for Muckrack, a renowned website for journalists and PR pros. So one day I pitched an idea to one of the editors, and she loved the concept. The result was an article on how bloggers can avoid getting caught in fake news traps so common across the internet these days. It was well received.

Website Copy

Examples of website copy I’ve completed for clients in various industries:

Louise Lace – Editorial Fashion and Personal Styling

Collaboration: Copy by Edward Beaman | Web design & graphics by Ian Lace of Liquid Media.

Project: Louise Lace is an experienced and renowned fashion industry expert who was a founding member of the hugely popular Norwich Fashion Week. She required a new web presence for her new venture into personal shopping and editorial fashion styling, together with branding, marketing materials and sales copy.

Details: The first step was to talk in-depth with Louise to get a complete understanding of what she did, what she aimed to achieve and who her ideal clients were. Once all this became clear we were able to create a stylish new look for her branding, marketing materials and website. This was then boosted with sales-focused webpage and leaflet/brochure content.

Pages designed and written included the homepage, about page and a number of service pages including: styling day, wardrobe revamp, personal shopping, online stylist and editorial.

Small booklet created for personal fashion stylist Louise Lace

From our initial conversation we immediately clicked. His ethos towards business & writing is second to none, he listened to my brief, engaged with my personality which has come across in the content for my new business website. His ability to engage with different clients is astounding and his knowledge about social media has taken me to another level. Edward and I have worked together for some 4 months which has been an absolute pleasure. I have learnt so much and his expertise in his field is amazing. I cannot recommend Edward enough for his writing services. Louise Lace

Pages I wrote included the homepage, about page, service pages, product pages (boilers, solar and storage) and an overview of what biomass fuel is.

Details: Our team worked in parallel on a new website design and the webpage content to go with it. We believe it’s always important to match the content with the design, and vice-versa. The result of this seamless collaboration was a beautiful new brand, highly functional website and engaging written content.
